Tech Tuesday

🤝 Event: Tech Tuesday

📅 Date: Tuesday 8th September

🕰️ Time: 10am – 12pm

📍 Location: Edinburgh Royal Bank Accelerator

📝 Description:

Join us for our second Tech Tuesday! This is a space to come and talk about the amazing things that you are doing in your business with tech, be it AI, no-code or anything that you think the community might be interested in hearing about.

We will have the opportunity for our community to share what they are working on, any lessons learned, advice and recommendations, as well as a Guest Speaker that will provide a deep dive on a subject that you can action in your own business.

🗣️ Our guest speaker:

Jean-Luc Potte will be providing us with a session on: Pitching in the scepticism era: what to include in your deck when text, images and audio can all be faked.

It’s 2026. Anyone can generate polished text, impressive images, convincing videos, and even realistic audio in minutes. So when everything can be created synthetically, how do you persuade people to trust what they’re seeing?

In this fast-paced 30-minute talk, Jean-Luc will explore what the rise of AI-generated content means for founders, innovators, and anyone trying to communicate ideas that matter.

The first half examines why traditional pitch decks and marketing assets are losing some of their persuasive power in a world where almost anything can be fabricated. As audiences become more sceptical, the challenge is no longer creating content. It’s creating credibility.

The second half introduces an alternative approach: Explorable Explanations. Rather than simply telling people what to think, these interactive, evidence-driven experiences allow audiences to engage, explore and discover ideas for themselves. You’ll see why this format has resonated with audiences at conferences and organisations around the world, and how it can help you build trust in the scepticism era.
